As soon as you enter the Vatican, this square attracts you. St. Peter's Church is right in front of this square which has the capacity to accommodate a gathering of about 80 thousand people. If you look closely at the church and this square, it seems as if it is standing in front of you with its arms outstretched.

Saint Peter's Basilica

Built in the Baroque style, this basilica is considered one of the most beautiful basilicas in the world. It is said that the first Pope, Pope Peter, was buried at this place, so it is a very important pilgrimage site for the followers of Christianity. It is the second largest Catholic church in the world. A large audience gallery has been built on St. Peter's Square in front of the basilica, where the Pope addresses from the stage in front.

Vatican Museums 

This museum houses artworks made by world-famous artists like Michelangelo and Raphael. You can also see a collection of artworks from the era of ancient empires like Rome, Greece and Egypt. World-famous artworks are displayed in the different galleries built here, which attract people from all over the world. The nearest airport is Leonardo da Vinci Airport, located thirty kilometers from the center of Rome city in Italy.
